About Central Government Bonus Rules
Every year before Diwali, the Ministry of Finance issues orders for Non-Productivity Linked Bonus (Ad-hoc Bonus) for non-gazetted Central Government employees (30 days = ₹6,908). Railways declare 78 days PLB (₹17,951), while Posts and Ordnance Factories declare 60 days PLB. All bonus calculations are subject to a statutory monthly calculation ceiling of ₹7,000 per month.
